Register to become a USA Hockey member.
Pay annual USA Hockey membership fee.
Review the two emails received (USA Hockey membership confirmation and USA Hockey unique referee number).
Review the USA Hockey Playing Rules & Casebook and Basic Officiating Manual (sent via USPS).
Complete SafeSport Training.
Complete the Background Check.
Complete Online Video Modules (mix of required and elective topics).
Register for a USA Hockey Classroom Seminar.
Complete Open Book Exam.
Receive USA Hockey Officiating Card and Sweater Crest.
Begin officiating games.
